SSH and RTKL to design waterfront resort in Kuwait
A new waterfront resort and residential development in Kuwait is to be designed by architects SSH in collaboration with RTKL.
Located in Sabah Al Ahmed Sea City Al Khiran will adjoin a 900 berth marina and form the downtown to a community of approximately 200,000 people.
It will feature an outlet centre, restaurants, two residential towers, one furnished apartments tower, and a five-star hotel.
Al Khiran will then form the largest multi-purpose destination in Kuwait complete with what its developers call “Riviera-like lifestyle and boardwalk concepts”.
Also part of the project is Al Khiran Park, an urban retreat with manmade landforms, covered walkways along the marina and palm promenades, all of which are crafted to provide sustainable integration with the surrounding environment.
