Our story is a nod to the human truth of what it means to be a New Yorker, allowing us to confirm our authenticity to actual New Yorkers while inviting “out-of-towners” to experience it by proxy through drinking our coffee. It’s a little tongue in cheek, but like the coffee it’s an expression of what it means to live in one of the most dynamic cities in the world.
