Universal Food Company (UFC) is a subsidiary of Intishar Holding Company. Intishar established UFC in 2003. UFC currently operates a total 16 restaurant outlets in Kuwait distributed over the three brands, Zaatar w Zeit, Life with Cacao, and FatBurger. Intishar owns two other subsidiaries in the foodservice industry; Ben’s Cookies Restaurant Company and French Food Company. Life with Cacao is the only locally developed brand in Intishar’s foodservice portfolio.
